A very nicely located restaurant with a great beer garden. We have eaten there several times and are on the whole satisfied. Unfortunately, more and more things were out of stock lately. It can happen that something is over, but that which is always missing on the last 3 visits does not work. Lately there were no more fried potatoes, but there were potatoes. Before that there was no mashed potatoes, there was potatoes. If I have potatoes, there must also be fried potatoes or mashed potatoes. Pancakes for the kids were also 2x all finished goods.

On the way home from Saxon Switzerland, we searched for and found a restaurant near the autobahn. The Waldgaststätte Buch is highly recommended. Top service, very tasty food and the selection just fantastic, nice ambience. We are happy to give 5 stars.

The food is very good and plentiful. But.... If you want to eat there shortly before 7 p.m. on Friday you will be told that you have to go to 8 p.m. as the restaurant closes. Family celebrations: The waiters and kitchen completely overloaded. 30 people + 1 table with 6 people + 1 table with about 12 people in the restaurant. If the waiter was there and took up drinks, someone else from the company was not allowed to order anything to drink within 5 minutes because you would then hear "drinks have only just been taken". Even if you weren't at the table to hear it. You had to wait 15 minutes before the drinks were even brought to the table. Then other tables were simply brought into the storage room between the occupied tables, which is done when the guests have left. Something like that doesn't belong in a restaurant. It seemed about time that the guests finally left. Kitchen: There are always people who do not eat the food in the menu and who omit or change something. There were also problems that the kitchen could manage. For the family celebration, attention was drawn to the fact that at 8.45 p.m. there will only be drinks until 9.30 p.m. and the celebration should then be terminated, as the restaurant wants to close at 10 p.m. The guests still had a good drink, provided the drinks were at the table. Summary: Time to eat like this: OK (be there at least 6 p.m. otherwise you have to eat your food) Celebration from 30 people: definitely not recommended

What we experienced from the service while the beer garden was in operation was the worst level I have ever experienced. The food was completely forgotten twice, as well as drinks. After several inquiries it always came, yes, it will come, but nothing came. When the error was recognized, both meals we ordered were over. We had to switch to a different meal. But even for that we had to wait another hour. The food and the prices are so well. There was no accommodation for the mistakes either. Never again here.

For the children there were ready-made pancakes warmed in the microwave, a shame! You had to look for the fresh vegetables in the salad, I can also eat a can of beans and coleslaw at home!

Beautiful restaurant with beer garden in the countryside in the woods. Regional specialities. We had the Würzfleisch, baked Camembert and the roulade Vogtländischer Art with dumpling and sauce and freshly made red cabbage. Everything very, very delicious, traditional fresh home cooking, you can really only recommend. As a small greeting from the kitchen there was a piece of homemade cake for dessert. Very nice and tasty.
